Astra Hospital Bengaluru is seeking a compassionate nurse to join our medical team. The post holder will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care under senior supervision, ensuring safe, efficient care for patients and families.

Qualifications include BSc. Nursing or GNM with Karnataka Nursing Registration. Experience 0–5 years in Medical Surgical Ward, ICU/NICU/PICU, Operation Theater, or Ward, with a commitment to infection control and accurate documentation.

Competenze

• Karnataka Nursing Registration is mandatory.
• Provide direct patient care and implement care plans; monitor vital parameters.
• Record patient conditions and report changes to doctors.
• Maintain infection control, safe medication handling and storage.
• Document care in department records; ensure continuity on shift.
• Manage consumables and nursing supplies; ensure availability.
• Update knowledge through continuing nursing education.

The post holder will work as part of a team to provide a safe, effective, efficient care environment for patients, relatives and care. They will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care under direct supervision from senior staff.

Qualification: BSc. Nursing / GNM

Experience: 0-5 Years in the following departments:

1. Medical Surgical Ward

2. ICU/ NICU/PICU

3. Operation Theater /Scrub Nurse

4. Ward

• Karnataka Nursing Registration is Mandatory
• To provide nursing care and restore patient's health by adhering to and implementing the set nursing protocol Critical Account-abilities:
• Provide direct patient care - implement patient care plan as per doctor's recommendation; monitor & record vital parameters
• Monitor, record & report any symptoms / changes in the patient condition to the doctors
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to infection control protocol, medication administration and storage procedure; and during emergencies
• Document patient care services by charting in-patient & department records
• Maintain continuity of patient care through documentation & communication during shift change.
• Responsible for consumables: for the patients under her/his nursing care, accounting and indenting of consumables/ medicines & nursing supplies and ensuring the availability of the same.
• Updating on essential knowledge and skill by participating in on-going CNE (continuing using education).
