Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor patients health conditions regularly
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors
  • Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation
  • Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and surgeries
  • Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and oxygen levels
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and recovery process
  • Ensure infection control and maintain hygiene standards in the hospital/clinic
  • Respond quickly to medical emergencies and provide first aid or emergency care
  • Coordinate with doctors, healthcare staff, and other departments for patient care
  • Handle medical equipment and ensure proper usage
  • Support patients emotionally and ensure patient comfort and safety
  • Follow hospital protocols, nursing ethics, and healthcare regulations
  • Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfer procedures
  • Maintain stock and availability of medical supplies and equipment
