Role & responsibilities





  • Provide safe and quality nursing care to patients.

  • Monitor and record vital signs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

  • Assist doctors during procedures and emergencies.

  • Maintain accurate patient documentation.

  • Follow infection control and biomedical waste (BMW) protocols.

  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.

  • Educate patients and their relatives regarding care and treatment.

  • Coordinate with doctors and other departments for patient care.

  • Maintain nursing equipment and report any faults. Check and maintain medicine and consumable stock.

  • Participate in training, audits, and quality improvement activities. Follow hospital policies, SOPs, and NABH standards.

  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the Nursing In-charge or Management.
