Job summary

GlobalFoundries inc. is seeking an experienced Staff Fixed Assets Accountant to provide oversight for fixed asset transactions within the BPO (TCS in India).

You will review transactions, assist in documentation, and ensure internal controls are maintained. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA/CA preferred), 8+ years in public or corporate accounting, strong communication, and solid experience with Oracle or SAP S/4HANA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA/CA preferred.
• 8+ years in public accounting or corporate accounting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Familiar with Oracle and SAP S/4HANA ERP systems.
• Ability to apply accounting guidance to transactions.

Responsibilities

• Review and guide fixed asset transactions for the BPO team.
• Execute and document internal controls around fixed asset accounting.
• Coordinate with the SOX team and external auditor.
• Prepare documentation and memos supporting accounting positions.
• Support financial reporting related to fixed assets.
• Assist with additional accounting projects as required.

Ensure internal controls compliance is prepared and retained. Coordinate with the SOX team and external auditor,Provide necessary documentation required for financial audit.Support and review financial reporting related to fixed assets.Assisting with other accounting projects as required.
