Job summary

Nagarro in India is seeking an experienced SAP MM consultant for 7+ years to lead end-to-end materials management initiatives, including S/4HANA Public Cloud deployments, procurement, inventory, and master data management. You will partner with FI, SD, PP, and WM/EWM teams, support production issues, manage change requests, and train users while ensuring quality across configurations and integrations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Materials Management (MM) and end-to-end SAP implementations.
• Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud with procurement and inventory management.
• Experience configuring MM processes, conducting UAT, and supporting cross-functional integrations (FI, SD, PP, WM/EWM).
• Experience in production support, handling incidents, change requests, and user training.

Responsibilities

• Write and review high-quality MM configurations.
• Translate client requirements into technical designs for developers.
• Define guidelines for non-functional requirements during projects.
• Review architecture and design for scalability, security, and extensibility.

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total Experience 7+ years
• Should have 7 years of experience in Materials Management (MM), including end-to-end implementation and application support projects.
• Should have hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations, with strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, material master, vendor master, source determination, pricing, release strategies, and invoice verification.
• Should be skilled in gathering business requirements, configuring SAP MM processes, performing system testing, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), preparing functional specifications, and supporting integrations with cross-functional modules such as FI, SD, PP, and WM/EWM.
• Should have experiencein providing production support, resolving incidents, managing change requests, and delivering user training.
• Ability to consult and influence on technical decisions.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Writing and reviewing great quality configuration.
• Understanding the client’s business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them in to technical design which elegantly meets the requirements
• Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers
• Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the client’s requirements
• Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation
• Writing and reviewing design document explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developers
• Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed
• Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it
• Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
