Job summary

Nagarro in India seeks an Oracle ERP Technical Consultant (6+ years) to design, develop and support Oracle EBS and Cloud/Fusion solutions. You will build RICEW components, PL/SQL code, reports, interfaces, and workflows, while ensuring performance and quality across environments.

You will collaborate with functional teams and clients to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, perform troubleshoot, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced delivery model.

Qualifications

• Total experience 6+ years.
• Strong experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) including development and consulting.
• Hands-on in RICEW, PL/SQL, Oracle DB, reports, interfaces, customizations, workflows.
• Experience in Oracle ERP applications with production support and improvements.
• Knowledge of Oracle DB architecture, tuning, and objects.
• Experience with BI Publisher, OTBI, RTBI or FR/RSS reporting tools.
• Understanding of Oracle Finance/SCM modules (PO, AP, AR, FA, GL, INV).
• Experience with Oracle Cloud/Fusion tech, REST/SOAP APIs, and integrations.
• Code deployments across Dev/Test/UAT/Prod. Familiar with OUM or similar methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as an Oracle ERP Technical Consultant with cross-functional teams.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Oracle EBS and Cloud/Fusion solutions.
• Manage Oracle database objects and DB components for apps and reporting.
• Develop and support RICEW, PL/SQL, reports, interfaces, and workflows.
• Design technical solutions for custom apps, reports, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot data flow and application logic to identify root causes.
• Performance tuning and SQL/PL/SQL optimization.
• Produce reports using BI Publisher, XML Reports, OTBI, Smart View, FRS.
• Work with stakeholders to deliver complete solutions and provide recommendations.
• Support Finance and SCM modules (PO, AP, AR, FA, GL, INV) and integrations.
• Create technical design docs, specs, tests, and implementation deliverables.
• Participate in production support, incidents, enhancements, and continuous improvement.
• Uphold coding standards, deployment practices, and best practices.
• Collaborate across teams and geographies; own deliverables and mitigate risks.
• Mentor team members and adapt to Oracle Cloud tech and integration frameworks.

REQUIREMENTS

• Total experience 6+ years
• Strong experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) with technical development and consulting.
• Strong hands-on experience in RICEW, PL/SQL, Oracle Database, reports, interfaces, customizations, and workflows.
• Proven experience in developing, maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting Oracle ERP applications, with a strong focus on production support and continuous improvements.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database architecture, including database objects, performance optimization, SQL/PLSQL tuning, packages, procedures, functions, and ref cursors.
• Experience designing custom database solutions for applications and integrating Oracle databases with other databases/systems.
• Strong experience with Oracle reporting technologies, including BI Publisher, XML Reports, OTBI, Smart View, and Financial Reporting Center/FRS.
• Good understanding of data flow and underlying tables across Oracle Finance and SCM modules such as PO, AP, AR, FA, GL, and INV.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud/Fusion technical solutions, integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, and application customizations.
• Hands-on experience with frequent code deployments across multiple environments such as Development, Test, UAT, and Production.
• Experience in designing, developing, testing, and documenting technical solutions in line with Oracle Unified Methodology (OUM) or similar implementation methodologies.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and effective technical solutions.
• Experience working with Git or other version-control tools is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as an Oracle ERP Technical Consultant, working closely with application development, functional, and support teams to deliver high-quality Oracle ERP solutions.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance technical solutions across Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud/Fusion applications.
• Develop and manage Oracle database objects, including tables, views, packages, procedures, functions, and other DB components required for applications and reporting.
• Develop and support RICEW components, PL/SQL solutions, reports, interfaces, customizations, and workflows based on business requirements.
• Design and implement technical solutions for custom applications, reports, database integrations, and Oracle ERP enhancements.
• Troubleshoot application and database issues by tracing data flow and application logic, identifying root causes, and implementing effective corrective solutions.
• Perform Oracle database performance tuning and optimization, including SQL/PLSQL performance analysis and resolution of database-related bottlenecks.
• Develop and support reports using BI Publisher, XML Reports, OTBI, Smart View, and Financial Reporting Center/FRS as required.
• Work closely with customers and business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical recommendations, and deliver complete solutions.
• Support Oracle Finance and SCM applications and provide technical assistance across modules such as PO, AP, AR, FA, GL, and INV.
• Develop and support integrations between Oracle ERP/Cloud applications and external systems using technologies such as REST and SOAP APIs.
• Perform technical testing, debugging, deployment, and post-deployment validation across multiple environments.
• Prepare technical design documents, specifications, test documentation, and implementation deliverables in accordance with OUM and organizational standards.
• Participate in production support activities, incident resolution, bug fixing, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish and maintain coding standards, development procedures, deployment practices, and technical best practices within the team.
• Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, developers, project managers, business users, and client stakeholders across teams and geographies.
• Take ownership of technical deliverables and proactively identify and resolve project challenges and risks, escalating issues to project or senior management when required.
