Job summary

Nagarro is seeking a seasoned DevOps/Platform Engineer to scale our cloud-native platforms. You will design and run scalable CI/CD pipelines, manage Azure or GCP infrastructure, and maintain containerized deployments with Kubernetes.

The role emphasizes automation, security, and observability in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates bring 5.5+ years of experience, strong scripting skills, and hands-on work with Terraform, Helm, and Prometheus/Grafana.

Qualifications

• Total experience: 5.5+ years.
• Strong experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
• Must-have expertise in Cloud Platforms (Azure or GCP), Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes (AKS/GKE), and Terraform.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong experience with containerization, Kubernetes deployments, scaling, upgrades, and environment management.
• Experience with Helm for deployment templating and Kubernetes package management.
• Strong scripting experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
• Good understanding of networking concepts including DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and cloud networking.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, or cloud-native tools.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning, secret management, compliance, and security automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure across Azure or GCP environments.
• Administer and support Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters (AKS/GKE) including deployments, scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources.
• Implement deployment strategies using Helm and Kubernetes templates.
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure workflows using scripting.
• Configure monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and cloud-native tools.
• Implement DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning and policy enforcement.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve platform reliability.
• Collaborate with development, cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver reliable platform solutions.
• Participate in production support and on-call rotations.
