Job summary

Nxtwave Disruptive Technologies is hiring a hands-on DevOps / Platform Engineer to own the engineering platform enabling developers and business tech teams to build, deploy, and operate secure software at scale. You will bridge Central IT, Software Engineering, and Business Technology to translate enterprise requirements into scalable platform capabilities.

You'll design and operate cloud, on-prem, and hybrid infrastructure, build IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation, and manage CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid infrastructure; AWS/GCP a plus.
• Experience with IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Strong networking fundamentals (DNS, VPNs, routing, firewalls, load balancers).
• Identity technologies such as Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, SSO, IAM, and secrets management.
• Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Excellent communication across technical and business stakeholders.

DevOps / Platform Engineer

We're building the Manufacturing Operating System that powers the next generation of intelligent factories. We're looking for a hands-on DevOps / Platform Engineer to own the engineering platform that enables developers and business technology teams to build, deploy, and operate secure, reliable software at scale.

This is more than a traditional DevOps role. You'll serve as the technical bridge between Central IT, Software Engineering, and Business Technology teams, translating enterprise requirements into scalable platform capabilities, automation, and self-service infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and operate cloud, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructure.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 8 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, Systems Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong experience in Linux and Windows administration.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid infrastructure; AWS and/or GCP experience is a plus.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Strong networking fundamentals, including DNS, VPNs, routing, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Experience with identity technologies such as Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, LDAP, SSO, IAM, and secrets management.
• Scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business stakeholders.
