Job summary

Nagarro Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to design and maintain automation scripts using Ansible and Python. You will automate internal tools, infrastructure workflows and data pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable automation solutions.

You will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and configuration management, write clean modular code, and help with troubleshooting and optimizing automation processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps engineer with automation using Ansible and Python.
• Experience automating internal tools, infrastructure workflows, and pipelines.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and public cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Familiarity with GitOps practices and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Writing and reviewing quality code for automation tasks.
• Understanding client needs and envisioning overall solution; choosing technologies and patterns.
• Defining design methodologies and toolsets for automation.
• Coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities to enable application development.
• Leading/supporting UAT and production rollouts.
• Creating and estimating effort for modules/tasks and justifying estimates.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex bugs; continuous improvement mindset.
• Providing constructive feedback and setting clear expectations for teammates.
• Conducting POCs to validate design/technologies against requirements.

REQUIREMENT:

• We are seeking devops engineer hands-on Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible and Python
• Automate internal tools, infrastructure workflows, and operational processes
• Build and manage data processing pipelines, integrations, and utilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to design scalable automation solutions
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and configuration management systems
• Write clean, modular, reusable, and well-documented code
• Troubleshoot and optimize automation processes and workflows
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Exposure to public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Knowledge of GitOps practices
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Writing and reviewing great quality code
• Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the clients needs in the context of the project
• Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns and frameworks to realize it
• Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets
• Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
• Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs
• Creating, understanding and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it
• Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
• Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
• Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
• Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements
