Job Summary

We re looking for a Senior Video Editor with a sharp storytelling instinct someone who can transform raw footage into engaging Reels, Shorts, podcasts, interviews, and long-form videos, with a strong understanding of pacing, visuals, sound, and social media trends.

The ideal candidate will bring both creative expertise and strong ownership of the post-production process, ensuring every video meets high standards of quality, consistency, and brand storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Edit Reels, Shorts, podcasts, interviews, and long-form videos end-to-end.
• Repurpose long-form content into engaging short-form clips for digital and social platforms.
• Add transitions, captions, motion graphics, music, VFX, and other visual elements.
• Handle colour correction, audio editing, sound design, and final video polish.
• Adapt editing styles according to brand tone, audience, and platform requirements.
• Stay updated with social media trends, formats, and emerging video styles.
• Collaborate closely with content, creative, production, and design teams.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining quality and brand consistency.
• Ensure videos are optimised for different digital platforms and their technical specifications.

Leadership Ownership

• Take ownership of video projects and deliverables from concept through to final output.
• Provide creative inputs during pre-production, including shot selection, framing, edit approach, and storytelling structure.
• Guide junior editors and collaborate effectively with designers, writers, videographers, and producers.
• Help establish and maintain editing standards, workflows, templates, and brand guidelines.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve the quality, consistency, and efficiency of the post-production process.
• Review and provide constructive feedback on video edits to ensure consistency with creative direction and brand standards

Nice to Have

• Experience working with media houses, creative agencies, or lifestyle/entertainment brands.
• Strong understanding of social media content and audience engagement.
• Experience creating content for multiple digital and social media platforms.
• Ability to work on fast-paced, trend-driven video content while maintaining strong storytelling and production quality.

Requirements

• 7 10 years of experience in video editing/post-production, including strong experience with social media content.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, visual composition, colour, and sound.
• Knowledge of colour correction and colour grading.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in subtitles, graphics, cuts, audio, and final exports.
• Good understanding of motion graphics, typography, transitions, and platform-specific video specifications.
• Ability to prioritise multiple projects and manage tight turnarounds independently.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards under tight deadlines.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong understanding of social media content, audience engagement, and platform trends.
• Ability to create fast-paced, trend-driven short-form video content.
• Updated portfolio/showreel is mandatory.
