Video Editor & Motion Designer (Sr./Assistant) – Instagram & YouTube

Thought Pudding is building India’s most honest and science-backed mental health brand. Our mission is to make therapy and mental health conversations culturally relevant, credible, and creatively fresh. We are looking for a seasoned Video Editor who can drive the narrative of mental health with us across various digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form and long-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and full YouTube episodes.
• Maintain high creative standards from storytelling flow to sound design, pacing, and typography.
• Apply motion graphics, text overlays, and visual cues that make content more engaging and easier to follow.

Technical Excellence We’re Looking For:

• Manage the full post-production workflow from ingesting footage to final export.
• Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Capcut, etc. is a must.
• Strong visual sense: You have an eye for color, light, and rhythm. You know how to make cuts feel seamless and moments impactful.
• Narrative instinct: You understand story arcs setup, tension, payoff and can shape footage to create them.
• Motion graphics skill: Proficiency with After Effects or motion tools to enhance storytelling.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience in video editing, motion design, or post-production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent software (mandatory), Capcut or equivalent software and After Effects (preferred) or equivalent softwares.
• Working knowledge of color grading, audio design, and compression formats.
• Experience editing for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
