Job summary

Deepwatch is seeking a Sr. UI Engineer to build scalable, intuitive front-end experiences for its cybersecurity platform.

You will work on complex UI solutions that empower customers to detect and respond to threats in real time, with emphasis on scalability, security, performance, accessibility, and best practices. You will collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and the broader engineering team to deliver high-quality user experiences while driving architecture,

Position Summary
Deepwatch is seeking a Sr. UI Engineer to build scalable, intuitive, and responsive userexperiences for our cybersecurity platform. In this role, you will work on complex front-end
solutions that empower customers to detect and respond to threats in real time.This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong expertise in modern front-end development,
along with an appreciation for scalability, security, performance, accessibility, and engineeringbest practices. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, backendengineers, and other members of the engineering team to deliver high-quality customerexperiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Contribution: Contribute to front-end architecture and technical decisions, identify areas of technical debt, and recommend practical improvements.
• Engineering Collaboration: Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing to help maintain high engineering standards across the team.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with product management, UX/UI designers, and backend leaders to define technical requirements, assess feasibility, and drive product roadmaps.
• Optimization & Standards: Establish performance benchmarks and ensure the UI adheres to strict accessibility (WCAG) and security best practices.
• Development Lifecycle: Drive Agile processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives, while advocating for improvements in developer tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
• Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve on UI development trends and frameworks, recommending new technologies that drive business value.
• Front-End Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain complex front-end components and features for Deepwatch’s cybersecurity platform, with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with UI development trends, frameworks, and tools, and recommend technologies or approaches that can improve the product and developer experience.

Preferred

• Experience in cybersecurity or complex enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Understanding how microfrontends work.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain design systems and component libraries(e.g., Material-UI, AntD).
• Deep understanding of data visualization frameworks (e.g., Nivo, Recharts, TanStack) for handling large datasets.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS CloudFront, S3) and modern build tools (Vite, Webpack).
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices (OWASP).
• Experience leveraging AI tools in SDLC
• Prompt Engineering for UI
