Job summary

Gartner IT is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to design and execute manual and automated tests for Salesforce CRM applications in an agile setup. You will develop test scripts, perform regression, performance, and stress testing, and mentor junior testers to strengthen automation skills.

The role requires 6+ years in testing Salesforce CRM with strong automation experience using Selenium, Playwright, and TestNG, plus SOQL knowledge and Jira proficiency. Hybrid work model in India.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in manual and automation testing in Salesforce CRM applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership in agile environments.
• 4-6 years of Sales Cloud Salesforce testing (leads, opportunities, accounts, etc.).
• Proficient in SOQL and SFDC integrations.
• 2+ years automating web applications using Selenium, TestNG or Playwright.
• Hands-on QA testing of web services and ability to develop test scripts and scenarios.
• Experience with Smoke, Functional, Regression, E2E and Performance testing.
• Experience with Jira and test management tools.

About the role:

The Senior Test Engineer will create and execute test scripts, regression, performance, and stress testing in an agile environment. The candidate should have strong analytical abilities, good experience in Salesforce CRM application manual testing, coding skills for automation, excellent teamwork, and great communication skills. This role will also support junior team members on test script creation and automation.

What you’ll need:

• Strong IT professional with 6+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing frameworks in Salesforce CRM applications.

• The candidate should have strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills along with high on ownership and accountability

Must have

• 4-6 years of experience in Sales Cloud with Salesforce CRM Application testing (leads, opportunity, contacts, accounts, Conferences, Events etc.,)

• Good experience in SOQL and SFDC Integrations

• 4 Years of experience in Agile environments.

• Strong hands-on experience in QA testing web services and possesses the ability to develop test scripts and scenarios

• Strong hands-on experience in analyzing, designing, building, and maintaining effective QA test coverage which meets functional requirements and specifications. (Smoke, Functional, Regression, E2E, Performance, etc.)

• 2+ years of experience in automating web applications across platforms using test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, TestNG, Playwright

• Good experience and coding skills in Selenium with Java/ Python, OOPS Concept

• Good Knowledge and experience in Test management tools JIRA, AIO etc.

• Exposure in web technologies (HTTP, XML, REST, HTML, etc.)

• Able to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change

• Able to lead E2E level testing when it demands

• Keep monitoring, providing test and automation status and raising issues and potential risks to Test Lead/Manager
