Job summary

Aqilea, a Bengaluru-based consulting company, is looking for a Mid-to-Senior Manual QA / Test Engineer with approximately 7+ years of relevant experience. You will perform end-to-end testing of web and mobile apps, validate APIs, and ensure data integrity across systems, using tools like Postman, Jira, and Confluence.

You will work in a hybrid setup with a focus on delivering high-quality software, coordinate with frontend and backend teams, and drive testing to defect resolution throughout the

Qualifications

• Strong experience with manual functional and end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications.
• Experience testing APIs and backend integrations, using tools such as Postman or similar.
• Good understanding of HTTP/REST APIs, request/response payloads, status codes and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence; QMetry experience is beneficial.
• Ability to use browser developer tools and inspect network/API calls.
• Comfortable working with test data and validating data across multiple systems.
• Experience comparing implemented UI against Figma designs is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of mobile testing across Android and iOS.

Responsibilities

Minimum technical skills

Leadership / experience level

Mid-to-Senior Manual QA / Test Engineer with approximately 7+ years of relevant experience.

Candidate should be able to work independently with limited onboarding, understand an E2E business flow across multiple systems, identify gaps in test coverage, coordinate with frontend and backend teams, and drive testing through to defect resolution.

Interest/experience with automation testing frameworks in Python is a definite plus.
