Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive in Mumbai seeks a Sr. Technology Associate to support day-to-day SAP and related finance applications, including project design, configuration, testing and rollouts.

You will ensure system performance, enforce governance, and collaborate with business units to translate requirements into effective solutions. The role requires strong SAP FI-SD, FSCM, and C2C experience, with ABAP debugging knowledge and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce preferred.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically.
• Experience with Credit to Cash processes and FI-SD integration is desirable.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day to day application support including response to emergencies (24x7).
• Manage and perform design, configuration and testing of SAP and other applications for projects, upgrades, implementations and roll outs.
• Maintain standards of system performance and reliability by following procedures, analyzing root causes and continuous improvement.
• Enforce global governance, project steps and documentation.
• Independently connect with business to understand requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Function as support coordinator balancing resource loads, tracking SLA progress.
• Craft functional specifications for developers for specific custom developments.
• Stay updated with latest SAP development technologies and adapt through self-training and research.
• Mentor and coach junior developer resources.

Main Responsibilities

This position is for an Individual contributor who would be responsible for the following

Applied Knowledge and skills requirement :

Thorough understanding of General Accounting principles

Business process knowledge of Credit to Cash stream, involving FI-SD integration, FSCM modules of Credit Control, Dispute management, Collection management, AR reporting.

Sound working knowledge of SAP configurations and its process impact on C2C process in above areas.

Knowledge and experience in supporting Finance Month end,Year end activities

Good level of knowledge in other related areas -General Accounting, Asse t accounting, Purchasing/Sales, Taxation, Management reporting would be added advantage

Required Qualifications

Any Bachelor’s Degree( Commerce graduates preferred),any post graduate

Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically

Ability to seek and identify root cause

Should be flexible and adaptable to new technologies

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the SAP S/4 Hana environment for Finance applications.

SAP implementation and support function experience in C2C stream

Knowledge in ABAP debugging would be an added advantage
