Colgate-Palmolive is seeking an IT infrastructure professional based in Mumbai to support IT operations across India, the Philippines, and Bangladesh. The role handles end-user requests, asset management, hardware refreshes, and vendor coordination, ensuring compliance and supporting security initiatives without people management responsibilities.

You will work with Global IT teams on projects and coordinate with internal stakeholders while aligning with Colgate's governance and security

Formación

• Minimum of 5 to 6 years of IT infrastructure support experience.
• Graduate-level education; BE (Telecommunication) or BSc (IT) preferred.
• Willingness to travel to locations in India.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and implement timely hardware refreshes for servers, switches, and wireless equipment.
• Manage IT assets, including lease renewals, quarterly reconciliations, and retirement or disposal of fixed assets.
• Support India and Philippines Town Halls, new warehouse setups, and plant/warehouse expansions or relocations.
• Coordinate IT vendor and support contracts, budgeting processes, and vendor-driven project implementations.
• Ensure compliance with IT infrastructure checklists, audit requirements, and full SOX compliance standards.
• Provide guidance to contract support engineers and coordinate with Global IT (GIT) teams.

Role Summary

This position is an IT infrastructure role based in Mumbai, India, responsible for supporting IT operations across India, the Philippines, and Bangladesh. The position involves managing end-user requests, hardware refreshes, asset management, and vendor coordination. It requires ensuring IT infrastructure compliance and supporting various IT projects and security initiatives without direct people management responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement timely hardware refreshes for servers, switches, and wireless equipment.
• Manage IT assets, including lease renewals, quarterly reconciliations, and proper retirement or disposal of fixed assets.
• Support India and Philippines Town Halls, new warehouse setups, and plant/warehouse expansions or relocations.
• Coordinate IT vendor and support contracts, budgeting processes, and vendor-driven project implementations.
• Ensure compliance with IT infrastructure checklists, audit requirements, and full SOX compliance standards.
• Provide guidance to on contract support engineers and coordinate with specialized Global Information Technology (GIT) teams.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 to 6 years of preferred work experience in IT infrastructure support.
• Minimum degree requirement of any graduate, with BE (Telecommunication) or BSc (IT) preferred. 1
• Prior experience in IT infrastructure support and ability to travel to locations in India

Preferred Qualifications

• ITIL and project management certification is desirable
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server and Windows Operating Systems
• Understanding of server backup management, including tape library backups.
• Familiarity with IT asset lease-out processes
• Basic network infrastructure troubleshooting involving Cisco products.
