Sr Technical Support Engineer - Geomodelling

Job summary

AspenTech SSE in Mumbai is seeking a knowledgeable geoscience professional to support clients locally or remotely, helping them access AspenTech SSE products and workflows while following internal procedures.

You will build long-term relationships with users, collaborate with Sales and Solution Consulting, expand knowledge of support standards, and contribute to training programs; travel to industry events as needed.

Qualifications

• First degree in Geoscience with masters in Geology.
• Minimum 5 – 6 years technical experience in E&P industry, working for an oil company, services, or software company.
• Software ability: Good working knowledge of at least one exploration and production software suite SKUA, ROXAR or similar software
• Client interface:A proven ability to manage customer expectations.
• High level of English, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Expands knowledge of onsite and remote support standards, troubleshooting techniques, as well as use company´s knowledge base to better execute tasks.
• Participates and contributes content to knowledge development and/or training programs through the organization and hosting of training or workshops activities.
• Participate in local industry events and tradeshows (as needed).
