Join Vultr

Vultr is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to drive the end-to-end execution of our most complex, large-scale AI data centre build programmes. The ideal candidate is a seasoned programme leader with 10+ years of experience who excels at navigating high‑growth ambiguity, managing multi‑layered stakeholder relationships, and translating complex technical infrastructure requirements into clear, actionable business outcomes. This is a highly visible role in a high‑growth technology company, which will require expert‑level organisational change management, executive‑ready communication, and the ability to maintain programme‑level visibility across global workstreams. This is your opportunity to join our fast‑growing team and leave your mark on Vultr and the future of Cloud Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Accountability: Serve as the primary point of accountability for the end‑to‑end delivery of comprehensive data centre builds, overseeing multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
  • High‑Stakes Facilitation: Lead and facilitate critical conversations, workshops, and decision‑making sessions with technical leads and executives, ensuring alignment and resolution in high‑pressure environments.
  • Stakeholder Orchestration: Act as the central hub for communication between internal teams, external vendors, and global partners, ensuring transparency and alignment at all levels.
  • Program Visibility: Maintain the "source of truth" for programme health by ensuring all schedules, dependencies, and risks are accurately reflected in programme management tools.
  • Executive Communication: Distill high‑density technical jargon and infrastructure updates into concise, executive‑level summaries and dashboards for business leadership.
  • Ambiguity Navigation: Lead through uncertainty by establishing structure where it doesn't exist, proactively identifying bottlenecks, and driving cross‑functional resolution.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of Programme Management experience within a technical or infrastructure‑focused organisation.
  • Expert‑level proficiency in Smartsheet and Jira Plans; specifically in building and managing multi‑programme portfolios and dependency‑linked schedules.
  • Exceptional Communication & EQ: Proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and translate technical complexity for business audiences.
  • Deep experience in Organisational Change Management: Ability to drive process adoption and maintain programme health during rapid scaling and pivots.
  • Technical Fluency: A strong foundational understanding of data centre deployments and the critical path items required for infrastructure rollouts.
  • Proven track record of managing large‑scale, "multi‑vendor" builds where you were accountable for the entire programme lifecycle.
