Birlasoft is seeking a seasoned network engineer to lead design and deployment of large enterprise networks in Pune. You will work with Cisco WLCs, Meraki, and data center Nexus gear to deliver reliable, scalable connectivity. Strong routing, firewall, and load-balancer skills are required.

The role emphasizes hands-on execution, design leadership, and mentoring junior staff, with a focus on documenting topology and ensuring adherence to design specs.

Qualificações

• 15+ years of hands-on enterprise networking experience.
• Strong expertise with Cisco Wireless Controllers and Meraki.
• Deep data center experience with Nexus 7k/5k/2k.
• Proficient in BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP routing protocols.
• Experience in multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Check Point, A10, NetScaler).
• Hands-on with Cisco/Check Point/Juniper firewalls.
• Experience with A10 and NetScaler load balancers.
• Experience with Cisco DNAC in design, deployment and operation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide network design leadership and solution guidance.
• Lead deployment guidance ensuring designs meet specs.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting in data center/large enterprise networks.
• Supervise and mentor engineers through workshops and training.
• Document designs and maintain topology and as-built records.
• Collaborate on projects and technology transitions.
• Apply best practices to planning, design and implementation.
• Evaluate interoperability and optimize performance across the network.

• Supervising responsibilities includes interviewing/training/coaching team members through informal workshops to transfer knowledge to engineering staff
• Participate in team projects and project/technology transition
• Applying industry best practices to the design, planning, and implementation of the network
• Applying extensive industry experience to optimize network performance and proactively analyze potential enhancements
• Evaluating technical specifications for interoperability
• Creation of network documentation from the existing infrastructure, planned infrastructure as well as updating existing documentation
• Preferred Certifications: CCNA & CCNP (routing & switching) , F5- CA/ CTS, FCNSA
