Aristocrat is seeking a skilled Technical Artist to join our Art and Graphics team for an exciting new project. You will optimize character animations and FX and troubleshoot technical issues to enhance workflow and output quality.

• Schedule and manage time efficiently with agile development leaders to plan work
• Deliver assets on time to specification with attention to detail
• Peer review for accuracy and quality
• Prepare game documentation as needed
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve high-quality games
• Follow guidelines to manage/develop art assets for business support
• Propose ideas/innovations to improve testing/tools/processes
• Coordinate with global studio leads for status updates and guidance
• Participate in after-hours calls as needed
• Create visually appealing assets that meet briefs and offer design variations
• Develop and implement artwork aligned with engine/platform constraints for performance
• Maintain high quality/accuracy across all technical art processes
• Continue to develop technical skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and related tools
• Provide regular updates on project progress with team/stakeholders
• Manage and document files/assets/workflows for team accessibility
• Follow asset pipeline to optimize models/textures/animations for multiple environments
• Keep up with gaming industry advancements and cross-platform development
• Collaborate with artists, developers, and leads to achieve project goals

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop/Update artwork and animation for digital gaming projects
• Focus on Content implementation pipeline
• Ensure relevant processes regarding asset management, file organization, output configuration are clearly and correctly executed
• Schedule and manage time efficiently – work with agile development leaders to plan work
• Deliver assets on time to specification with a thorough and complete attention to detail
• Responsible for having peer reviews to check work for accuracy and quality
• Various other duties includes:
• Game Documentation as per business need
• Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to achieve the highest quality games possible
• Follow guidelines set by management to manage / develop art assets to support business
• Bring in ideas/innovations to improve the overall testing process in terms of tools, processes etc.
• work collaboratively with Global team/studio Leads for status updates, guidance and working as one team to deliver defined goals.
• Participation in after business hours calls as per business need.
• Create visually appealing assets that meet project briefs while exploring innovative concepts and providing multiple design variations.
• Develop and implement artwork that adheres to the technical constraints of the game engines and platforms, ensuring optimal performance.
• Uphold high standards of quality and accuracy in all technical art processes, ensuring consistency across projects.
• Continuously develop technical skills related to your discipline and software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and other relevant tools.
• Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to clarify technical requirements and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Manage and document files, assets, and workflows to streamline accessibility and usability for the team.
• Follow the established asset pipeline, focusing on optimizing models, textures, and animations for performance in various game environments.
• Keep up to date with advancements in the gaming industry, multi-platform development, and relevant technical practices.
• Work closely with artists, developers, and studio leads, providing technical support and guidance to achieve project goals.
