The Senior Technical Architect is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and governing scalable data, analytics, and integration solutions across the Global Supply Chain and Quality domains. The position serves as both a Solution Architect and Data Architect, partnering with Product Managers, Product Owners, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Domain Experts, and Enterprise Architecture teams to deliver enterprise-grade data products and analytics capabilities.
This is not a pure governance or review position. The successful candidate will actively contribute to solution design, data architecture, technical implementation guidance, data modeling, platform optimization, engineering enablement, and resolution of complex technical challenges across multiple initiatives.
Communicates complex technical concepts clearly to business leaders, technical teams, and executive stakeholders. Produces concise, decision-oriented documentation and presentations.
Builds alignment and drives architectural decisions across teams, vendors, and stakeholders in a matrixed operating model.
Breaks down complex challenges, evaluates tradeoffs, identifies root causes, and designs pragmatic, scalable solutions.
Creates trusted partnerships across business, IT, engineering, architecture, and vendor teams.
Demonstrates urgency, ownership, accountability, and disciplined follow-through from design through implementation.
Mentors engineers, raises technical standards, and constructively challenges designs while enabling delivery.
Operates effectively across discovery, design, implementation, support, and governance activities in both structured and ambiguous environments.
The ideal candidate is a highly technical, hands-on architect who can move seamlessly between architecture strategy and technical execution. They bring deep expertise in modern data platforms, cloud technologies, data engineering, and enterprise integrations, combined with strong business acumen. They are equally comfortable defining a future-state architecture, facilitating a design decision, reviewing SQL and dbt models, assessing data pipelines, and working directly with engineers to resolve delivery challenges.
This individual will serve as a trusted technical advisor to the GSC Data & Analytics and Quality Data Product Teams, helping shape and deliver enterprise data products that support Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, and Operational Excellence priorities.
