Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Salesforce Architect to lead strategy, architecture, and delivery of complex CRM platforms for the FMCG industry in Mumbai, India. You will define roadmaps, oversee cross-cloud implementations, and ensure scalable, secure integrations with data lakes, ERP, and analytics tools.
The role requires 8+ years in CRM architecture, Salesforce certifications, and strong stakeholder leadership to drive adoption and governance across IT and business teams.

Lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of complex Salesforce solutions for the FMCGindustry, ensuring scalable, secure, and business‑aligned CRM and customer experience platforms.
Lead the development of Salesforce strategies and reference architectures
Define multi-cloud Salesforce roadmaps aligned with business objectives, technology landscapes, and industry best practices.
Lead the development of Salesforce strategies and reference architectures
Oversee the implementation of Salesforce solutions across Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Adobe Target, Sales, Marketing Activation tools and other Salesforce products
Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards
Building Proof-Of-Concept (POC) to demonstrate working model
Omni channel marketing experience (email, sms, whatsapp, social media)
Integrate Salesforce applications with external systems using robust identity and access management, data architecture, and best-practice integration patterns (API-led, event-driven, batch, etc.).
Work with data lakes (Snowflake), data platforms, ERP or back-office systems, LMS systems, Loyalty Management, analytics tools (e.g., Domo, Tableau, Power BI), cloud platforms (primarily GCP), Cloud Run
Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth)
Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating
Architect and guide the build of secure, scalable applications using sharing and security models, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Flow Builder, and related Salesforce development tools.
Enforce coding standards, governance, and performance best practices.
DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, release management) on the Salesforce platform.
Define governance models for environments, change management, and platform adoption.
Engage with business stakeholders to understand strategic business needs, present solution options, and manage expectations.
Lead business development and sales activities to generate new opportunities and expand existing relationships within target accounts.
Contribute to proposals, solution demos, and executive presentations to support deal pursuits.
Manage project teams, vendors, budgets, timelines, and quality assurance activities to ensure successful delivery.
Lead the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.
Support the professional development of team members through coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback.
Stay current on Salesforce, CRM, and industry trends, and translate them into actionable recommendations for clients.
Contribute to the firm’s intellectual capital by creating knowledge assets, playbooks, and accelerators on internal content platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Computers science, Information technology or a related field.
Minimum years of experience: At least 8+ years in the relevant field.
Salesforce Application Architect and System Architect certifications (or equivalent experience with a clear path to achieving them).
Proven experience leading and delivering complex Salesforce solutions using Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and related products for 5–10+ clients in FMCG industries.
Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with:
Data platforms and data lakes
ERP or core enterprise systems
LMS, Loyalty systems
Analytics platforms
At least one major public cloud provider
Strong understanding of the CRM market and competitive landscape (Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Zoho, etc.)
