Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering experience.
4+ years in ML/LLM/GenAI and 3+ years in UiPath automation.

Responsibilities

Position: Tech Lead - UiPath (Python / LLM / GenAI)

About the Role: We are looking for a seasoned Tech Lead with strong expertise in UiPath automation, Python development, and applied AI (ML, LLM, GenAI).

In this role, you will architect and deliver intelligent automation solutions that combine RPA with advanced AI capabilities. You will lead a team of engineers, integrate Python-based ML/LLM models into UiPath workflows, and partner with product and research stakeholders to define the automation and AI roadmap. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of enterprise automation and AI innovation - transforming business processes into scalable, intelligent systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and deployment of UiPath automation integrated with Python ML/LLM models.

Architect end-to-end automation pipelines, combining RPA with AI-driven decision-making.

Integrate LLMs into UiPath workflows for intelligent document processing, conversational bots, and cognitive automation.

Define and enforce engineering standards, code review processes, and best practices across the automation team.

Mentor engineers; conduct regular 1:1s and performance feedback.

Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and ML researchers to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Drive experimentation and iterative improvement using MLflow, Weights & Biases, or equivalent.

Ensure reliability, scalability, observability, and security of automation and AI components in production.

Stay current with UiPath advancements, Generative AI research, and orchestration frameworks.

Participate in sprint planning, architecture reviews, and cross-team technical discussions.

Core Technical Requirements

UiPath & Intelligent Automation
- 3+ years of hands-on UiPath development and orchestration.
- Expertise in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Robot deployment.
- Experience integrating Python ML/LLM models into UiPath workflows.
- Building intelligent document processing, chatbots, and automation pipelines with AI.
- Knowledge of RPA governance, compliance, and scaling automation across enterprise systems.

Python & Software Engineering
- 8+ years of professional Python development with production-grade systems.
- Proficiency in Python ecosystem: asyncio, multiprocessing, type hints, packaging.
- REST API design (FastAPI, Flask, Django REST Framework).
- Strong grasp of OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices.
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

Machine Learning & LLM/GenAI
- Hands-on experience with ML frameworks: scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
- Expertise in supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning paradigms.
- Experience with GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, LLaMA, Falcon, etc.
- Strong expertise in prompt engineering and fine-tuning methods (LoRA, QLoRA, RLHF).
- Orchestration frameworks: LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel.
- Building RAG pipelines with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, Qdrant).
- Experience deploying LLMs via APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI) and self-hosted solutions.

Data, Cloud & Infrastructure Skills
- Cloud platforms: AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda), GCP (Vertex AI), Azure (ML Studio, UiPath Cloud).
- Data processing: Apache Spark, Pandas for large-scale datasets.
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis; vector stores as above.
- Streaming systems: Kafka, AWS Kinesis for real-time inference.
- Monitoring & observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.
- GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK).
- Good to Have: Exposure to RPA beyond UiPath (Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism).
- Experience with multimodal AI (vision-language models, image generation).
- Certifications in UiPath and ML/LLM practices.
- Experience with autonomous systems or edge AI deployment.
