Job summary

Minimalist in Jaipur is seeking a Sr. Taxation Executive to oversee end-to-end indirect tax (GST) and direct tax compliance, filings, and reconciliations.

You will coordinate with tax consultants, prepare returns like GST, Income Tax, TDS/TCS, support audits, and ensure timely payments and accurate tax provisions.

Preferred 4–7 years in manufacturing or FMCG tax roles with a detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of progressive experience in taxation, preferably within Manufacturing, FMCG, or related industries.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Indirect Tax (GST) compliances and direct tax.
• Prepare and file Income Tax returns, TDS/TCS returns, GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C & ISD).
• Handle TDS deduction, payment, reconciliation, and Form 26AS/AIS/TIS reconciliation.
• Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and tax authorities.
• Monitor tax payments, deadlines, and maintain a tax compliance calendar.

About the Role

• Manage end-to-end Indirect Tax (GST) compliances and direct tax.
• Prepare and file Income Tax returns, TDS/TCS returns, GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C & ISD), and other statutory filings.
• Handle TDS deduction, payment, reconciliation, and Form 26AS/AIS/TIS reconciliation.
• Manage GST reconciliation, GSTR-2B vs. books, ITC verification, GST liability reconciliation, and Form 26AS/AIS/TIS reconciliation.
• Review GST applicability, HSN/SAC classification, tax rates, RCM, e-invoicing, and e-way bill compliance.
• Prepare advance tax, tax provisions, and other tax workings.
• Handle Income Tax and GST notices, assessments, audits, and departmental queries.
• Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and tax authorities.
• Monitor tax payments, statutory deadlines, and maintain a tax compliance calendar.
• Provide tax inputs on business transactions, contracts, and commercial matters.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of tax returns, challans, reconciliations, and assessments.
