Key Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize Linux environments (Debian, RedHat, etc) either in the physical, virtual, and/or lab environments.
Automate deployments, updates, and OS rollouts; manage 100+ deployments
Address performance issues & support business application software running on Linux.
Oversee system security, patching, & configuration to ensure maximum uptime & reliability.
Collaborate with engineering teams on the design & upkeep of scalable infrastructure solutions.
Experience with OS deployment, management, and administration of servers, workstations, and laptops in Windows and Linux (e.g. RHEL/Ubuntu) environments, both on-site and remote
Scripting and development experience to automate IT processes (e.g. )
Adopt and enforce BTS policies, security guidelines, and best practices.
Architect and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans
Support virtualization technologies including VMware and Azure
Work with external vendors and internal users to optimize system performance.
What You Need to Succeed:
8+ years of progressive IT experience in systems administration or infrastructure management
Expertise in Linux environments (Debian, RedHat, Etc.)
Strong experience with cloud migrations, automation, and deployments
Expertise on networking, security protocols, redundant systems and best practices.
Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Kubernetes)
Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, and firewalls.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently
