Job summary

Harmonic is seeking a Sr. SW Development Engineer in Bengaluru to drive software development for broadband and media solutions. The role blends on-site collaboration with a hybrid work model, requiring strong C/C++ skills and hands-on embedded Linux experience.

You will work with hardware teams on PON technologies, networking features, and firmware integration, contributing to next-gen video and broadband platforms. Prior experience in Agile/Scrum is valued.

Qualifications

• BE in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience as a SW Developer.
• Proven experience with Embedded Linux.
• Excellent experience in C/C++ Programming.
• Proven experience in PON.
• Experience working with Hardware.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Experience in L2 forwarding, Remote PHY DAA and networking technologies is a plus.
• Experience with Marvel switches is a big Plus.
• Working with Broadcom chip is a plus.
