IIVSIPL is hiring for an on-site QA/QC professional responsible for inspection, surveillance and verification tasks across building, road, and structural projects. You will review documents, validate test certificates, and ensure adherence to codes and field quality plans.

The role demands strong communication, a client-facing approach, and a proactive attitude to maintain quality standards and safety across sites and operations.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in relevant Engineering discipline.
• For Degree, 10+ years in Oil & Gas QA/QC or related industry with 3 years in relevant role.
• For Diploma, 15+ years in Oil & Gas QA/QC or related industry with 4 years in relevant role.
• NDT Level 2 in UT for Concrete UT is a preferred qualification.

Responsabilités

General Summary

Responsible for providing technical services to the clients in their area of competency, Act as customer owner presenting information on IIVSIPL Services to clients, identifying their needs and reporting to the Operations Manager.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Inspection / Surveillance / Verification tasks as defined in the scope of work
   • Review & approval of QA/QC documents/ ITP etc
   • Shall be able to understand and interpret the relevant codes and standard applicable for inspection
   • Study the codes & specifications of Items of work and implementing QA activities as per Field Quality Plan at site
   • Checking quality of Raw material at Approved source and site as per the decided Frequency.
   • Acceptance of Manufacturer’s Test Certificate of bought-out items and material like Cement, Reinforcement, Grouting cement, admixture and construction chemicals
   • Checking of Methodology Statement with respect to specifications and different IS codes.
   • Inspection / Surveillance for day to day activities pertaining to filed quality in consultation with Site-in-charge and Client / Consultants.
   • Sample draw & collection for testing and witness at site / NABL lab with calibrated testing equipment’s.
   • Inspection activities related to the building construction, Road & Bridge construction Pre-cast concrete etc. as per filed quality plan, client specification and national codes.
   • Reviewing the testing equipment’s calibration certification for its validity before any testing.
   • To ensure that proper methodology and instructions are followed Quality Norms in execution of various activities.
   • To check workmanship.
   • To impart training if any and /or co-ordinate for training on technical and functional subjects
2. Prepare and issue the daily inspection report / weekly filed inspection report for any pending issues and non conformity and inspection reports.
3. Prepare and submit his time sheet for EIC approval and to his reporting manager for his approval weekly time sheets.
4. Initiate project closures for completed projects and Maintain job files
5. Identify new business opportunities within current client base.
6. Develop professional relationship with customers, obtain periodic feedback and communicate to reporting manager.

3. Maintain harmonious relationship with colleagues, team members at work place and in office.
4. Bring to the notice of supervisor in-case of any situation that can hamper IIVSIPL service and its brand image.

6. Knowledge of the IIVSIPL ISO 17020: 2012 Type A requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Degree / Diploma in relevant Engineering discipline
• For Degree, Min 10 years of Oil & gas in quality department or any other industry QA/QC with 3 years relevant experience.
• For Diploma, Min 15 years of Oil & gas in quality department or any other industry QA/QC with 4 years relevant experience.
• Additional qualifications such as NDT Level 2 in UT for Concrete UT are preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills, Sound technical base and Genuine team player
• Self –motivated and Strong communication skills
