Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation seeks an experienced Test Engineer to join our India team, focusing on Power/Analog devices. You will drive test development from conception to volume production and work with a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hardware and software test development for PMIC, Temp Sensors and I3C products.
• Test lead experience preferred.
• Extensive experience with multiple ATE platforms (mFLEX, Advantest 93K, SPEA, Cohu DiamondX, Teradyne Eagle).
• Proficient with I2C, I3C, and SPI protocols and power IC trim implementations.
• Characterization and production test program development.
• Strong analog test techniques and electronics knowledge.
• Data analysis using Spotfire or STDF-based tools.
• Experience with lab equipment (scopes, power supplies, sourcemeters, loads).
• Understanding of IC product development from concept to volume production.

Responsibilities

• Translate specifications into test plans and hardware interfaces.
• Develop test and characterization programs for ATE.
• Debug silicon on ATE and correlate with bench data.
• Analyze yield data and drive failure analysis.
• Optimize test time and drive product to volume production.
• Define and implement test strategy for Power/Analog products.
• Develop and maintain ATE hardware/software.
• Provide robust, cost-effective test solutions.
• Support production releases and qualification.

Renesas’“IndiaForIndia”is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join our team. This role offers a unique and exciting opportunity to work on the development of state-of-the-artPower/Analog devices. You will be part of a cross-functional team, driving the product from conception to volume production.

Responsibilities include:

• Work with design/systemsteamsto understand specifications
• Generate test plan, create test and char program, design ATE hardware interface boards
• Debug characterizing silicon on ATE, correlate results with bench data
• Analysesilicon results, supporting failure analysis tasks
• Perform statistical analysis of yield fallout, debug and fix yield issues; optimize test time
• Work with production team to release products to volume production
• Test strategy definition and implementation for newPower/Analogproducts
• ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) test hardware and software
• Silicon qualification& characterization including qual hardware development
• Comprehensive device debugging, design validation and failure analysis
• Drive for robust andcost-effectivetest solutions while being accountable for product quality

Qualifications

• Test Engineer with 10+ Years experience developing hardware and software at Wafer Sort and Final Test for PMIC, Temp Sensors and I3C products.
• Test Lead experience preferred.
• 10+ Years of experience onmFLEX, Advantest 93K,SPEA,CohuDiamondX,Teradyne Eagle or equivalentanalogATE (iFlex, LTX, VLCT), althoughCohuexperience is preferred and is a differentiator
• Experience using I2C, I3C, and SPI protocol as well as trim implementations for power IC products
• Characterization test program and hardware development experience, Production test program and hardware development experience
• Strong technical knowledge of electronic devices and circuits, and Analog test techniques
• Data analysis skills using Spotfire,dataPoweror equivalent tool based on STDF
• Experienced with various lab equipment such as scopes, power supplies,sourcemeters, loads etc.
• Experience with product engineering activities such as yield improvement and test time reduction
• Strong understanding of the IC product development process, from concept to volume production

• Experienced with test program and hardware offload toOSATs
• Proficiency in programming/scripting in C++, Python, C#
