Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Sr. Specialist - F&A - AP to lead a large Accounts Payable team in a fast-paced, innovation-driven setting. The role focuses on ensuring SLA/KPI adherence, overseeing invoicing and audit requests, and collaborating with the Business Accounting team to resolve issues.

You will drive governance calls, manage multiple stakeholders, and mentor the AP staff while participating in projects that deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance.
• Master's degree in Finance preferred.
• Professional certification in Accounts Payable or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large Accounts Payable team.
• Ensure baseline values adherence for all SLA/KPI & CPI.
• Review day-to-day AP activities including invoicing and audits.
• Meet close timelines and communicate deadlines.
• Coordinate with Business Accounting and internal partners to resolve issues.
• Manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Support metrics reporting for the AP process.
• Lead people management including hiring and mentoring.
• Participate in governance calls with stakeholders.
• Own projects and drive outcomes.

Job Description

• Lead a large Accounts Payable team
• Ensure baseline values adherence for all Service Level Agreements-KPI & CPI
• Review the team's day to day activities, including but not limited to invoicing, audit requests, analysis and other requests pertaining to the accounts payable process
• Handle close timelines and communicate on a timely basis adhering to deadlines
• Harmonize with the Business Accounting team and internal partners to resolve issues
• Manage multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Support the metrics reporting for the relevant process
• People Management - be a peoples manager involving in hiring, structured learning path, operations mentor for the team.
• Participate and lead governance calls with internal / external stakeholders
• Participate and own projects and drive outcomes
