Job summary

Acentra Health, LLC is seeking a skilled financial professional to support project budgets, costs, and controls across software implementation and integration projects. You will analyze variances, prepare forecasts, and collaborate with project managers to ensure financial discipline throughout the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in financial modelling and project controls, strong Excel skills, and hands-on experience with Oracle EPM or Hyperion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• Three (3) plus years of experience in financial modelling and/or project controls.
• Experience in fixed price and financial analysis for software implementation contracts or system integration projects.
• Experience developing and presenting budget and status reports; understands accrual processes and invoice validation.
• Hands-on with Oracle EPM Cloud and/or Hyperion applications.

Responsibilities

• Develops project baseline budgets, analyzes project risks, and supports PMs with analytical insight.
• Monitor progress and analyze cost variances against baseline resource usage.
• Assist with corrective action analyses to address potential problems.
• Prepare documentation for project financial review and approval per corporate guidelines.
• Support change control processes and governance meetings; perform cost management and forecasting.
• Provide project financial updates at operations meetings and flag issues early.
• Identify and assist with change management on projects.
• Review close-out documentation and final cost reports for benchmarking.
• Produce reports on pipeline, backlog, project status, and staffing; forecast cash flow.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

• Develops project baseline budgets, analyzes project risks, and provides analytical support to Project Managers.
• Monitor and collaborate on project progress to compare actual versus baseline resource usage and analyze project cost variances.
• Support Project Managers in performing specialized analyses of corrective action plans to determine the most effective means of addressing potential problems.
• Prepares documentation in accordance with corporate guidelines for project financial review and approval.
• Prepares documentation in support of the change control process and internal governance meetings throughout the project life cycle. Performs cost analysis, cost estimating, cost management, cost control, and cost forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provides update at operations meetings on project financials, schedule status, issues, and concerns; keeps project managers informed of emerging issues as they arise.
• Identifies and assists with change management process on projects.
• Monitors close out documentation requirements and reviews final cost report and final schedule for close out and benchmarking purposes.
• Provides reports on pipeline, backlog, project status, Project Cost information and staff planning. Prepares cash flow forecasting and analysis.
• Develop and maintain annual budgets.
• Assist management with special projects as needed.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft office suite
• You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university.
• You have three (3) plus years of experience in financial modelling and/or project controls.
• You have experience in fixed price and financial analysis, preferable for Software implementation contracts or system integration projects.
• You have experience developing and presenting budget and status reports
• You have a complete understanding of accrual processes, invoice review and validation.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud and/or Hyperion applications.

Nice to Have, Not Mandatory:

• You have experience with US Government/public sector (Federal or State) contracts or projects
• You have knowledge of US GAAP revenue recognition methodologies.
