Job summary

GetixHealth seeks an experienced SDET to drive manual and automated testing across enterprise applications. You will design and maintain test scripts and data, and produce RTMs, test plans, and scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage.

You will also review requirements, lead test readiness, and perform API/backend testing on RESTful services built with C#, PHP, and Python. Collaboration with DevOps and QA teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in SDET, software testing, quality engineering in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on testing of applications, RESTful APIs, and backend services (C#, PHP, Python).
• Experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Playwright or equivalent.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, defect lifecycle, and quality practices.
• Experience with TDD, BDD, shift-left, and continuous testing approaches.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail.
• Hands-on experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing across enterprise applications (functional, integration, end-to-end, UAT, regression).
• Design, develop, and optimize automated test scripts, frameworks, and test data sets.
• Create and maintain RTMs, test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for full coverage.
• Review requirements and designs to identify risks, gaps, and testability concerns.
• Lead test readiness activities including planning, scope, script development, and defect management.
• Perform API and backend testing for RESTful services and backend tech (C#, PHP, Python).
• Promote testing standards, quality practices, and scalable test management.
• Expand test automation footprint through scripting, reviews, deployment, and improvements.
• Collaborate with Development and DevOps to integrate tests into CI/CD.
• Advocate shift-left, TDD, and BDD to improve software quality across SDLC.

Position responsibilities

• Perform hands-on manual and automated testing across enterprise applications, including Functional, Integration, End-to-End, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression testing.
• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts, frameworks, test data sets, and reusable test assets.
• Create and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs), test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to ensure complete test coverage.
• Review and validate business requirements, functional specifications, and solution designs to identify risks, gaps, and testability concerns.
• Lead test readiness activities, including test planning, scope definition, script development, execution scheduling, defect management, and test reporting.
• Perform API and backend testing for RESTful services and enterprise applications developed using C#, PHP, and Python.
• Drive adoption of testing standards, quality engineering best practices, and scalable test management processes.
• Expand and enhance the organization's test automation footprint through script development, code reviews, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Development and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
• Promote shift-left testing, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices to improve software quality throughout the SDLC.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in SDET, Software Testing, Quality Engineering, or related roles within enterprise environments on both manual and automation testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience testing applications, RESTful APIs, and backend services developed using C#, PHP, and Python technologies.
• Experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Playwright or equivalent.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, or equivalent.
