Your Impact

As a Senior Software Test Engineer in our Technology Group, you will test new solutions to aid in achieving AspenTech’s Performance Engineering vision. You will leverage your skills and passion to provide leadership that will help drive AspenTech’s Asset Optimization strategy. Design automated and manual tests to ensure high quality software deliverables. Collaborate with product managers, product designers and developers to develop detailed product requirements and translate those requirements into tests Keep current with new and developing technologies as they appear in industry and assist in determining the feasibility of implementing new technologies.

What You’ll Need

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering field 5+ years of professional software testing experience.
• Experience testing software systems using a variety of languages, C# and C++ a plus.
• Experience developing software behavior tests using Gherkin.
• Experience with agile software development practices.
• Excellent communication skills English language fluency, both written and verbal.
• Nice to have experience in Engineering Simulators used in the Oil and Gas Industry #LI-RK1
