Job summary

AspenTech is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to join our Technology Group. You will design automated and manual tests to ensure high quality software deliverables and collaborate with product teams to turn requirements into tests.

You will stay up-to-date with new technologies and assess their feasibility for adoption within our engineering software stack, contributing to robust asset optimization solutions.

Your Impact

As a Senior Software Test Engineer in our Technology Group, you will test new solutions to aid in achieving AspenTech’s Performance Engineering vision. You will leverage your skills and passion to provide leadership that will help drive AspenTech’s Asset Optimization strategy.

• Keep current with new and developing technologies as they appear in industry and assist in determining the feasibility of implementing new technologies.

What You'll Need

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering field
• 5+ years of professional software testing experience.
• Experience testing software systems using a variety of languages, C# and C++ a plus.
• Experience developing software behavior tests using Gherkin.
• Experience with agile software development practices.
• Excellent communication skills
• English language fluency, both written and verbal
• Nice to have experience in Engineering Simulators used in the Oil and Gas Industry
