Job summary

YASH Technologies in India is seeking a Power Platform Developer with 5-7 years of experience to design and deliver enterprise-scale apps using PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate. You will work closely with business users and IT to implement solutions across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and data integrations.

The role requires hands-on development, architecture input, testing, and deployment, with a focus on cost-efficient, scalable workflows and a strong collaboration mindset within a hybrid

Qualifications

• Degree - preferably in IT/Engineering or related disciplines.
• 5-7 years of experience in technical roles with business users.
• Expertise with the Power Platform suite (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate) and data integrations.
• Experience with Microsoft 365/SharePoint and Teams.
• Proven ability to design, develop and implement enterprise-scale apps.

Responsibilities

• Build applications/workflows using the Power Platform components.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.

Power Platform Developer

Required Skills

• Degree - preferably in IT/Engineering, Master/Bachelors in Science or any other related disciplines
• 5-7 years of overall experience as individual contributor as well as team player working successfully in a technical role with business users or end users.
• Delivering services and solutions for the customers as part of the Power Platform Team using the suite of Microsoft’s PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate Flow, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, custom development, and data integrations on the platform.
• Working directly with business to support various projects and provide solutions.
• Developing PowerApps model and canvas driven apps.
• Installing and configuring data gateways.
• Providing architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in Microsoft 365.
• Designing end-to-end solutions that improves collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing.
• Identifying areas and processes where Microsoft 365, Office 365, Dynamics 365, and SharePoint can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement.
• The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the Microsoft Power Platform - MS PowerApps, MS Power Automate (Flow), Power BI and Power virtual agents. They should also have experience in analysis, design development, testing and implementation of enterprise scale apps.
• Experience in successful software delivery / development / end to end life cycle management.
• Experience with configuration, deployment and testing of enterprise software applications
• Experience with any scripting language – JAVASCRIPT / Python / VBA / Pearl
• Experience with SQL Server – DB design, Writing SQL queries and stored procedures
• Good knowledge of BPM Fundamentals, Technical Features, Designer Features.
• Experience in designing and developing integrations with 3rd party system. Must be expert in integration, connected systems, Web APIs, FTP, JMS and other web integration technologies.
• Good working knowledge of .Net, C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML and CSS is also desirable.
• Constructs conceptual application architecture including records, reports, and news feeds
• Designs conceptual workflows and related actions
• Experience using any collaboration / knowledge management tools like SharePoint/Confluence
• Ability to Plan, Multi-task and Prioritize
• Working knowledge in application servers, web servers, operating systems, and web application architectural concept

Responsibilities

• Build applications / workflows of highest quality using the Microsoft Power Platform – MS PowerApps, MS Power Automate (Flow), Power BI and Power virtual agents.
• Be cognizant of cost and schedule implications.
• Support Lead Developer in Common Component development
• Recommend and Develop Common Component development, integrations, and configurations
• Drive best practices, design, development, testing, implementation and application reviews
• Assists in translating business requirements to technical designs and specifications
• Respond to queries raised by business and other members of Community of Practice (COP)
• Actively participate in project meetings and discussions
• Weekly, monthly and quarterly status reporting to relevant stakeholders
• Project documentation
• Timely escalations and issue management

• Collaborate within and outside teams as required
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks or duties as assigned by reporting manager
• Define coding best practices and standards and educate other on these practices
