Job summary

YASH Technologies is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer specializing in the MS Power Platform to design and deliver enterprise-scale Power Platform solutions.

You will build PowerApps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI reports, collaborating with business units to implement end-to-end processes. Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of hands-on experience with the Power Platform, including data integration, SharePoint, and SQL Server.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/Engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience as individual contributor and team player.
• Experience delivering Power Platform solutions using PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint.
• Ability to design end-to-end MS 365/Power Platform solutions and integrate systems with Web APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build applications/workflows using MS Power Platform stack.
• Collaborate with business users to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Develop and maintain PowerApps model and canvas apps.
• Configure data gateways and manage deployments.

Power Platform Developer

Required skills:

• Degree - preferably in IT/Engineering, Master/Bachelors in Science or any other related disciplines
• 5-7 years of overall experience as individual contributor as well as team player working successfully in a technical role with business users or end users.
• Delivering services and solutions for the customers as part of the Power Platform Team using the suite of Microsoft’s PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate Flow, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, custom development, and data integrations on the platform.
• Working directly with business to support various projects and provide solutions.
• Developing PowerApps model and canvas driven apps.
• Installing and configuring data gateways.
• Providing architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in Microsoft 365.
• Designing end-to-end solutions that improves collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing.
• Identifying areas and processes where Microsoft 365, Office 365, Dynamics 365, and SharePoint can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement.
• The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the Microsoft Power Platform - MS PowerApps, MS Power Automate (Flow), Power BI and Power virtual agents. They should also have experience in analysis, design development, testing and implementation of enterprise scale apps.
• Experience in successful software delivery / development / end to end life cycle management.
• Experience with configuration, deployment and testing of enterprise software applications
• Experience with SQL Server – DB design, Writing SQL queries and stored procedures
• Good knowledge of BPM Fundamentals, Technical Features, Designer Features.
• Experience in designing and developing integrations with 3rd party system. Must be expert in integration, connected systems, Web APIs, FTP, JMS and other web integration technologies.
• Constructs conceptual application architecture including records, reports, and news feeds
• Designs conceptual workflows and related actions
• Experience using any collaboration / knowledge management tools like SharePoint/Confluence
• Ability to Plan, Multi-task and Prioritize
• Working knowledge in application servers, web servers, operating systems, and web application architectural concept

Responsibilities:

• Build applications / workflows of highest quality using the Microsoft Power Platform – MS PowerApps, MS Power Automate (Flow), Power BI and Power virtual agents.
• Be cognizant of cost and schedule implications.
• Recommend and Develop Common Component development, integrations, and configurations
• Drive best practices, design, development, testing, implementation and application reviews
• Assists in translating business requirements to technical designs and specifications
• Respond to queries raised by business and other members of Community of Practice (COP)
• Actively participate in project meetings and discussions
• Weekly, monthly and quarterly status reporting to relevant stakeholders
• Timely escalations and issue management
• Manage Stakeholders
• Collaborate within and outside teams as required
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks or duties as assigned by reporting manager
• Define coding best practices and standards and educate other on these practices
• Comply to the organization norms, ethics and values

Good To Have:

• Experience with Agile / Scrum
• Exposure to Testing frameworks / automated testing
• Exposure to DevOps / CICD
• Experience in any ETL (SSIS / Talend etc.) & Reporting Tool (Tableau, SSRS Crystal etc.)
