Job summary

Carelon Global Solutions India LLP is seeking a Senior Software Engineer III - AI to drive Gen AI initiatives and deliver scalable AI solutions across business units. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to identify use cases and deliver end-to-end Gen AI applications.

The role requires hands-on experience with LLMs, NLP, Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), plus a track record of delivering Gen AI solutions in production.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS/AI/ML or related field.
• Hands-on Gen AI experience and delivery of AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Gen AI solution development, including model selection, fine-tuning and deployment.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Data Science to identify Gen AI use cases and deliver scalable applications.
• Drive prompt engineering, model evaluation, and performance optimization.
• Ensure ethical AI practices and data privacy, and manage stakeholder expectations.

Job Purpose

Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking for Senior Software Engineer III - AI who have hands-on Generative AI to drive innovation and delivery of Gen AI solutions across business units.

Job Responsibilities

• 4 + Years of exp in developing and implementing Gen AI solutions.
• Lead end-to-end development of Gen AI solutions including model selection, fine-tuning, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Data Science) to identify use cases and deliver scalable Gen AI applications.
• Drive prompt engineering, model evaluation, and performance optimization.
• Ensure ethical AI practices, data privacy, and responsible model usage.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a Gen AI Center of Excellence.
• Strong expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, diffusion models, GANs, or multimodal AI.
• Deep understanding of NLP, computer vision, and generative modeling techniques.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps tools.
• Familiarity with vector databases, RAG pipelines, and LangChain or similar frameworks.
• Proven track record of delivering Gen AI solutions in production.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
