About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help in developing high quality, secure and high‑performant applications. As a backend developer, you will play a major role in the software product development by analyzing the requirements, deciding on the approach and developing the application. You will develop the application, write unit test cases, high‑level test cases and deliver quality applications.

Job Description

• Develop high-quality applications.
• Participate in sprint planning, task estimation and user story creation.
• Lead design and implementation of complex features with guidance from technical lead.
• Mentor junior developers and perform code reviews in implementing new features.
• Design and implement testable and scalable code.
• Integrate user‑facing elements developed by front‑end developers with server‑side logic.
• Utilize GitHub repository for source control.
• Collaborate successfully with front‑end developers.
• Accurately estimate and complete tasks on time.
• Contribute to process improvements to drive efficiency and efficacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent from a good reputed university.
• 5+ years of experience (real world, not academic).
• Experienced with back‑end programming languages (Node.js).
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
• Strong foundation in relational database systems such as PostgreSQL and complex SQL queries.
• Experience using source control such as Git.
• Knowledge of web server/app server configuration and deployment on AWS platform.
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
• Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance‑optimization techniques and object‑oriented programming.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
