Job summary

ACI Worldwide in Pune is seeking a Sr Software Engineer to provide technical leadership in planning, design, and development of software systems for enhancements and new products. This hands-on role suits a technologist who thrives in fast-paced environments and values robust engineering foundations.

You will work on Java-based microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and front-end using Angular, with cloud, containers, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 8+ years software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java languages and programming.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
• Extensive hands‑on experience in building responsive and dynamic user interfaces using Angular or equivalent front‑end frameworks.
• Experience with at least one of the cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Tanzu, etc).
• Solid knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Observability tools. (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Ability to collaborate with a global team and work with attention to detail & multitask under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Researches and resolves reported systems software problems efficiently and accurately while adhering to internal software management standards and procedures.
• Coordinates the technical work of a small project team. Plans and schedules tasks for projects and individuals.
• Maintains detail knowledge of software, underlying network and system software, and dependencies.
• Provides guidance and subject matter expertise to the development organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Summary:
