Job Summary

Provides technical leadership of the plan, design, development of software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products. This role is ideal for a hands‑on technologist who thrives in fast‑paced environments and is passionate about building robust engineering foundations in the tech ecosystem.

Job Responsibilities

• Independently designs, develops, tests and delivers high‑quality software/solutions. Provides direct estimates, such as time or percentage of project completion, to lead and/or manager.
• Researches and resolves reported systems software problems efficiently and accurately while adhering to internal software management standards and procedures.
• Coordinates the technical work of a small project team. Plans and schedules tasks for projects and individuals.
• Maintains detailed knowledge of software, underlying network and system software, and dependencies.
• Provides guidance and subject‑matter expertise to the development organization.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Understands and adheres to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent software development experience.
• 8+ years software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java languages and programming.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event‑driven systems.
• Extensive hands‑on experience in building responsive and dynamic user interfaces using Angular or equivalent front‑end frameworks.
• Experience with at least one of the cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Tanzu, etc).
• Solid knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Ability to collaborate with a global team and work with attention to detail & multitask under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed for the job

• Experience working with Indian and global engineering teams.
• Exposure to fintech, e‑commerce, SaaS, or enterprise platforms.

Work Environment

• Standard work environment.
• Majority time spent on PC (physiological requirements).
• Travel required, may be domestic or international.
