Job summary

ACI Worldwide in Pune is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join a diverse, global engineering team building and testing software that powers the payments ecosystem.

You will participate in design, development and delivery of high-quality software, contribute to microservices, RESTful APIs and front-end work with Angular, and collaborate with colleagues across regions while following DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Expertise in Java languages and programming.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
• Experience building responsive UIs using Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Tanzu).
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Ability to collaborate with a global team and multitask under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Participates in planning, designing, developing and testing software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.

Job Responsibilities

• Participates in the design, development, testing and delivery of high-quality software/solutions.
• Creates and reviews unit, integration, system, and/or QA Test Plans/Scripts, executes test, and analyzes results.
• Participates in the researches and resolution of customer reported problems.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent software development experience.

• Familiarity in building responsive and dynamic user interfaces using Angular or equivalent front-end frameworks.

• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Observability tools. (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Ability to collaborate with a global team and work with attention to detail & multitask under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and team player capabilities required.

Preferred

• Experience working with Indian and global engineering teams.
• Exposure to fintech, e-commerce, SaaS, or enterprise platforms.
