Job summary

Candescent is shaping Intelligent Banking experiences with Java-based microservices and cloud-native solutions. The role targets senior software engineers with deep Java expertise, system design, and the ability to work across digital and core banking domains.

The candidate will contribute to multi-tenant cloud architectures, transactional systems, and CI/CD pipelines in a fast-paced, Agile environment in Bengaluru. Experience with GCP/AWS, Spring, and data stores is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 9+ years of software development experience using Java.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
• Experience with transactional systems design and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Design and troubleshoot transactional software systems across platforms.
• Build and maintain scalable microservices and cloud-based solutions.
• Develop and optimize build/deploy pipelines (Docker, Kubernetes, Nexus, Maven).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate user stories into tech specs.
