Job summary

Candescent is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer II (Java) to join the Assisted Banking Team in Hyderabad. You will develop backend applications and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot, with a focus on clean code and unit testing.

You will work with microservices, debug issues, and collaborate with QA, DevOps, and other teams to deliver features. Experience with AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot helps, and you will verify outputs before integration.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of professional software development experience with Java & Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and backend systems.
• Experience writing unit tests and debugging complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
