Job Title: Snowflake Developer / Lead Developer
Experience: 7-10 Years (Minimum 4-5 Years in Snowflake)

Shift Timings: 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-scale data warehouse and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Snowflake development, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, performance tuning, and cloud-based data platforms. The candidate will work closely with data engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-performing data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing.
• Develop and implement dimensional and relational data models.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Optimize Snowflake performance through query tuning, clustering, partitioning, and warehouse management.
• Develop and maintain data integration solutions using SQL, Python, or other programming languages.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards are followed.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members.
• Maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and operational procedures.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Stay current with Snowflake advancements, cloud technologies, and industry best practices.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Expertise in:

• Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Stored Procedures, Views
• Advanced SQL development and optimization skills.
• Strong experience with Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Experience with Git and version control tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with dbt, Matillion, Informatica, AWS Glue, or Azure Data Factory.
• Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, or other reporting/visualization tools.
• Experience with Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks.
• Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Agile development methodologies.
• Understanding of Machine Learning and AI-enabled data solutions.
• Snowflake certifications are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7-10 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Snowflake development and implementation.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data engineering and data warehousing projects.
