Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance Management
  • Plan, supervise, and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on Epiroc equipment, Ensure adherence to OEM maintenance standards and service schedules, Monitor machine health and initiate actions to prevent failures.
2. Equipment Availability & Reliability
  • Maximize equipment availability and utilization.
  • Analyze breakdown trends and conduct root cause analysis for recurring failures.
  • Implement reliability improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve performance.
3. Technical Leadership
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to service engineers, technicians, and operators.
  • Mentor and develop site maintenance personnel.
  • Lead complex repairs, commissioning, and technical interventions.
4. Safety & Compliance
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Epiroc and customer HSE standards.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are performed following approved procedures and statutory requirements.
5. Customer Relationship Management
  • Act as the primary technical interface between Epiroc and the customer.
  • Attend customer meetings and provide technical recommendations.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive communication and timely issue resolution.
6. Spare Parts & Inventory Control
  • Forecast and recommend spare parts, consumables, lubricants, and critical components.
  • Support inventory optimization and ensure timely availability of maintenance materials.
  • Monitor spare consumption patterns and recommend improvements.
7. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Maintain equipment history records, service reports, and maintenance logs.
  • Track contractual KPIs such as Availability, MTBF, MTTR, and maintenance compliance.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to management and customers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance practices, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Support implementation of technical upgrades, product improvements, and best practices.
  • Conduct technical training programs for customer personnel and Epiroc teams.

  • Strong knowledge of Epiroc mining and construction equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, drilling, and powertrain systems.
  • Expertise in preventive, predictive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance practices.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability for complex equipment failures.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, schematics, and maintenance procedures.
  • Knowledge of maintenance planning, reliability engineering, and equipment performance optimization.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing equipment maintenance at customer sites, AMC contracts, or mining operations.
  • Proven experience in leading teams of service engineers and technicians.
