Job summary

Lantern Digital is seeking a Lead SEO professional to steer complex initiatives across large websites from Ahmedabad. You will perform technical audits, manage crawl and indexation, and drive organic growth through strategic content optimization.

With 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience, you will harness data from GA, GSC, and SEO tools to guide strategy, improve Core Web Vitals, and mentor the team on best practices.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency.
• Deep knowledge of technical SEO, crawling, indexation, and JavaScript rendering.
• Proficient with Core Web Vitals, diagnosing and improving LCP, INP, CLS.
• Experience with GA, GSC, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog; strong reporting skills.
• Portfolio of successful campaigns with measurable organic outcomes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Optimise robots.txt, sitemaps, canonical tags, internal linking, schema markup, and hreflang for better crawling and indexing.
• Develop keyword and competitor strategies; audit service, product pages and blogs; identify link-building opportunities.

Develop keyword and competitor strategies, audit service pages, product pages, and blogs, and identify link-building opportunities that support organic growth.

Analytics, Automation & Team Guidance

Analyse Google Analytics and SEO tool data to produce actionable findings, streamline reporting with AI workflows, and support team planning while sharing SEO knowledge.

Who We're Looking For

MUST HAVE 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an agency environment, with a track record of improving organic search performance, including for larger websites. Deep knowledge of technical SEO, crawling, indexation, JavaScript rendering, and the ability to diagnose complex website issues. Hands-on experience with Core Web Vitals, including diagnosing and improving LCP, INP, and CLS. Strong understanding of AEO and GEO, with the ability to optimise content and website structures for visibility across AI-powered search and answer engines. Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, and Screaming Frog, alongside strong reporting and documentation skills. NICE TO HAVE A portfolio of successful SEO campaigns with measurable organic search outcomes. Experience with log file analysis, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, hreflang, and advanced technical debugging. Exposure to AI workflow automation for SEO analysis and reporting. Experience supporting project planning and sharing technical SEO knowledge with other team members. Hands-on experience diagnosing and improving Core Web Vitals to strengthen page performance and user experience.
