Deutsche Bank in Pune, India seeks a Senior Requirement Engineer (AVP) to bridge client needs with the IT delivery team across lending and securitization projects. You will capture requirements, drive analysis, and support QA through the full software lifecycle.

You will work with cross-functional teams, promote best practices in business analysis, and help deliver cost-effective solutions while remaining focused on quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Outstanding analysis skills across business process modelling and use case writing.
• Experience with data analysis and SQL in financial projects.
• Knowledge of financial products, especially lending, is a plus.
• Full project life cycle experience from initiation to delivery.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent written/oral communication and stakeholder liaison.

Position Overview

Job Title- Sr. Requirement Engineer, AVP

Location- Pune, India

Role Description

• The business which this development team is supporting is the lending department within Private Bank Germany. The whole life cycle for mortgage and consumer loans as well as securitization solutions for these loans is covered within the department and supported by the several teams.
• To extend and maintain these systems, an experienced Functional Analyst is required.
• The key objective of this role is to bridge the gap between the client’s needs and the technical delivery team and to help successfully deliver projects within this diverse and challenging space. The Functional Analyst will be heavily involved at all stages of the software delivery lifecycle from initial scoping and planning exercises through to the detailed analysis and collaboration with the IT team to deliver working software.
• The role requires an enthusiastic, pragmatic self-starter who wants to solve problems by delivering quality and cost-effective solutions through the employment of excellent business analysis techniques and functional domain knowledge.
• The role includes also participation in L3 production support activities.

Your Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Challenging, capturing and describing requirements according to the quality standards operating within the team
• Pro-active in identifying cost effective solutions to business problems
• Acting as the voice of the client throughout the development process
• Liaising with all parties (Business, Operations, IT delivery team) involved to ensure successful delivery
• Assisting and supporting QAT, SIT and UAT
• Ensuring agreed analysis deliverables are prepared according to deadline of the projects
• Mediating and resolving issues as and when they arise
• Close co-operation with other teams in the Bank to ensure strategic initiatives are leveraged
• Identifying areas where we can improve the analysis and delivery capabilities of the wider team
• Keeping aware of the latest industry trends and best practice in order to improve the team

Your Skills & Experience

• Outstanding analysis skills comprising demonstrable experience of all aspects of analysis such as business process modelling, use cases/user story writing, data modelling. All of the above in the context and use of the UML standards.
• Experience in working on projects requiring data analysis (including SQL)
• Previous Financial Domain experience is a plus
• Beneficial to have understanding of financial products especially in the Lending area
• Comfortable working within a full project life cycle from initiation through to delivery
• Experience of working with an agile methodology would be an advantage
• Experience in identifying and documenting client technical needs, internal structures, procedures, workflows and systems
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Flexible - keen to learn new technologies and to extend business domain knowledge
• Good problem-solving skills
• Demonstrable success in meeting deadlines and operating with clients and vendors
• Work to schedules, potentially across multiple projects and teams
• Pragmatic yet showing a high attention to detail
• Educated to degree level
• Good to have Swagger definition knowledge
• Experience on tools like Jira, Confluence, HPLM
