Job summary

Simform is seeking a Sr. QA Automation Engineer in Ahmedabad to design, develop, and execute automated tests across functionality, performance, and security.

You will implement and maintain automation frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance test coverage and reliability. The role requires 4-6 years of QA automation experience, strong programming skills in Java/Python/JS, and familiarity with AI-enabled testing tools.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in QA automation with expertise in developing and maintaining test scripts.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or Ruby.
• Solid understanding of automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, NUnit).
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and GitHub.
• Experience testing AI/ML-powered applications.

Responsibilities

• Use SQL for database validation and test data management.
• Adhere to Agile methodologies in a Scrum environment.
• Utilize CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub) and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
• Manage test cases and defects with Jira, TestRail, or similar tools.
• Leverage AI-powered testing tools and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate test creation, improve test coverage, and optimize test maintenance.
• Validate AI-enabled application features where applicable, including response accuracy, consistency, reliability, and edge-case handling.

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in test automation and software quality assurance practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts, improving test coverage, and ensuring software stability. This role requires strong programming skills, proficiency in automation frameworks, and the ability to collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to assess AI-generated test scripts and outputs for correctness, reliability, security, and maintainability.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker).

• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.

• Exposure to network protocols and automation for network-related testing.

• Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks like Appium or Calabash.
