Job summary

Johnson Controls in Mumbai seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead Data Center projects with a strong focus on Building Management Systems (BMS). You will manage end-to-end execution from planning to handover, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.

The role requires coordinating with customers, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, handling budgets and risk, and driving progress against KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline is required.
• PMP or Project Management certification is an added advantage.
• Experience in data center or mission-critical facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of Data Center BMS projects from kick-off to handover.
• Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and control activities.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and integration of BMS, HVAC, Electrical Monitoring, CCTV, ACS, and Fire Alarm Systems.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Monitor project KPIs and ensure timely delivery within contractual commitments.
• Conduct project review meetings and provide progress reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and company standards.
• Handle customer escalations and drive resolution.
• Support project documentation, billing milestones, and project closure activities.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution and delivery of Data Center projects , with a strong focus on Building Management Systems (BMS) and integrated building solutions. The incumbent will be responsible for managing end-to-end project execution, including planning, installation, commissioning, stakeholder management, and project closure while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, cost, and timeline objectives.

• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Monitor project KPIs and ensure timely delivery within contractual commitments.
• Conduct project review meetings and provide progress reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experience

• 8 to 15 years of relevant experience in project execution and project management.
• Strong experience in Data Center projects.
• Experience managing BMS, HVAC Controls, ELV Systems, CCTV, ACS, and Fire Alarm Systems.
• Proven experience in handling large-scale critical infrastructure or mission-critical facilities.
• Experience managing subcontractors, site teams, and multiple stakeholders.
