Job summary

Fujitsu Bengaluru seeks an individual contributor to develop and deliver layer-3/2 routing protocols for Flashwave/1FINITY products. You will implement OSPFv2/v3, IS-IS, BGP, LLDP, DHCP, and RSTP while interfacing with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 15+ years of hands-on experience in L2/L3 protocols, strong C/C++ skills, and real-time embedded Linux. Relocation is not offered and visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 15+ years hands-on experience in one or more L2/3 protocols (OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, BFD, VRRP, LLDP, DHCP, RSTP).
• Strong networking concepts and routing architecture knowledge.
• Proficient in C/C++ and data structures; Yang modeling and experience with confd from Tail-f; real-time embedded Linux.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The position is for an individual contributor where the candidate needs to develop and deliver layer-3/2 routing protocols/features for Fujitsu Flashwave /1FINITY Products.

Roles and responsibility: Analyze requirements, design, develop and deliver high quality software in protocols such as OSPFv2/v3, IS-IS, BGP, LLDP, DHCP, RSTP. Interact cross functionally on matters that require coordination across organization lines. Write functional and design specification documents and drive sign-off. Interface with other developers, QA, Documentation & Customer Support teams as needed. Participate in full product life cycle development.

Qualifications/Job Responsibilities

• Should have 15+ years of Hands-on experience in one or more L2/3 protocols - OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, BFD, VRRP, LLDP, DHCP, RSTP etc.
• Should have understanding and experience in working with general routing architecture, good understanding of networking and L2/3 concepts.
• Strong in C/C++ Programming and Data Structure. Yang modeling and good understanding confd from tail-f is a must. Engineer should have good knowledge real time embedded Linux OS.
• Extensive experience working on networking products required. Candidates with experience on Chassis system with multiple line-cards will be preferred.
• Result oriented with strong sense of drive and closure.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple product groups (QA, platform, hardware, product planning etc.) and a diverse set of people ( customer support team etc.) in multiple geographic locations. Should possess strong communication skills.

Ability to anchor the development teams technically and drive the requirement integrity.

• Experience in Management / Control plane able to handle all packet forwarding issues on platform
• Experience in SDKs (Broadcom)
• Troubleshoot issues in L2/L3 protocols
• Working knowledge on Broadcom drivers (C programming), chipsets
• Education: BS/BE/BTECH/ME/MTECH in CS/EE/ECE is required.
