Job Summary
The Senior People Business Partner (SPBP) is the strategic people partner to the leadership team of our India and Australia leadership teams.
The role translates the organisational business strategy into a coherent local people strategy, shaping organisational design, capability, engagement, performance and retention so the business can scale, deliver profitably and continuously improve the customer and employee experience.
Operating within an Ulrich model, the Senior People Business Partner works in close partnership with the Centres of Excellence (People Operations and Reward, Talent Acquisition and Learning Development) to deliver joined-up, data-led people, team and performance outcomes consistently across geographies, while ensuring compliance with Indian and Australian employment law and local cultural context.

What You Will Do
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders across the India and Australia business areas in addition to wider business leaders, aligning business priorities with a clear, actionable people plan.
- Lead organisational design and strategic workforce planning for a multi-disciplinary, dual-geography population balancing cost, capacity, utilisation and capability.
- Drive adoption, refinement and continuous improvement of the organisation-wide talent architecture (job families, levelling, capability frameworks and career pathways), using a skills-based approach to workforce planning and building clear pathways for technical, consulting and support roles.
- Partner on talent, succession and performance management, strengthening bench and succession cover for business-critical and hard-to-fill roles.
- Shape and deliver engagement and retention strategies, using insight to reduce regretted attrition and improve the employee experience across both locations.
- Lead the people workstream on change and transformation programmes (including restructures, opportunities for offshoring and operating-model change).
- Champion AI-first, technology-enabled ways of working - building AI literacy across the population and embedding AI, automation and workflow efficiencies into organisational design, role definition and productivity, in line with OneAdvanceds Intelligent System of Work strategy.
- Partner with Reward on pay, benchmarking and recognition to ensure fair, market-competitive and internally consistent outcomes across India and Australia.
- Partner with Recruitment to support the sourcing, interviewing and negotiation process to ensure that we are onboarding great talent engaged in our business and people strategy.
- More broadly, lead on cross-functional projects and transform the way we support our business for our people.
- Advance diversity, equity and inclusion and wellbeing within the India and Australian populations.
- Working closely with the ER lead, support a programme of reviewing and updating local employment policies and support local people case management.
- Working closely with the LD team, oversee the delivery of local onboarding and learning programmes in region to ensure these are having the required impact and there is ROI.
- Use people data, talent metrics and analytics to influence strategy, monitor progress and drive continuous improvement.
What You Will Have
- 10+ years experience in a partnering role (technology, professional services, legal sectors are advantageous). Exposure to private equity backed organisation is a benefit.
- Worked for medium or large, matrixed organisations with exposure to western cultures, for 3+ years to articulate end to end project impact.
